Full-text search across theses, profiles and tokens. Search runs on FomoData's own index (Postgres full-text) and only covers content that is authorized for search. It never fans out to the upstream.

GET/v1/searchsearch:read

Query parameters

qstringrequired: Search text, up to 200 characters. Words are matched with stemming; @handle and $SYMBOL prefixes are understood.
typesstring: Comma-separated subset of theses,profiles,tokens. Default: all three.
limitinteger: Results per type, 1–50. Default 10.

The response groups results by type. Each item is the full public object (Thesis, Profile, Token), so you rarely need a follow-up request. Sandbox profile results look like @sbx_milo.

Search has its own rate class

Search requests count against search_per_minute rather than the standard limit. See rate limits.

Semantic search

Coming soon

Meaning-based retrieval over theses, for queries like early AI infrastructure theses. It will only ever index content the data license permits, and indexes can be deleted and rebuilt.
